My name is Tracey Sidwell, and I live in Melbourne Australia.
Up until 4 years ago, I had never gardened in my life…then I found SBG!
This changed my life. Since the discovery of this amazing method of gardening, along with Joel’s book and countless quantities of fresh produce for my family, I have also developed a business in my local area. Sharing my passion for gardening and my love of fresh food drives me to continue to share my knowledge and experiences with anyone that is open to trying something new and exciting.

I always extend my growing area over spring, and I find that the cost associated with this method of growing, far out weighs growing in soil.
The biggest advantage for me and straw bale gardening, is the fact that it can go anywhere I have space for a bale. Also, the fact that it is so easy to maintain is a big plus for me and my limited time.
Year after year, I am still amazed at the amount of food I can produce in quite a small area in my own home.
