Bruce & Diane Moriarty

Prior to 2014 we probably would have been described as occasional hobby gardeners. We had dabbled at it but never been serious about it. A friend told me about Straw Bale Gardening, I bought the book, read through it quickly then went back and read the book again taking notes and studying it. My wife Diane picked it up and read it and was impressed too. We talked about it and then I said “we are going to do this!” WOW, what a great experience!
We grew a 40 bale SBG last year for our first try at this exciting method. The local newspaper published two articles about our efforts and we have since been asked to speak to three groups. What a great way to be able to help people grow a super productive garden and very likely improve their health all at the same time. We are both former teachers and love doing this. How can we help spread the word?
