I’m a busy man that loves fresh veggies but has no time to weed and water.
Heard on NPR radio Larry Mieller show Joel Karsten and strawbale gardening and decided to buy a book and tried 20 bales that first year. Wow….this was easy and a whole lot less time in taking care of this garden….my wife did not believe me when I said that the plants grew a foot from the time I left that morning to when I got home….all my time was just to take the veggies off everyday that grew.
Just using a timer for automatic watering and plucking out a few stalks of grass that grew was my only task of caring for this garden after set up
