Hi,I’m Kathleen Baswell a retired RN that now gets to dedicate full time my love of gardening! I come from a long line of farmers and have found the saying “you can take the girl out of the country,but you can’t take the country out of the girl” to be oh so true. I discovered SBG in 2015 and started my first garden with 33 bales. I could not have been happier with the results. I had never seen so much produce! Now I just have to share with others everything I know about SBG! As a 60 year old grandma I can tell you I would not be having a veggie garden without straw bale gardening. This method is just what us older folks need because of the ease in doing it. This year I am planting an all organic 40 bale garden and could not be enjoying it more.
