I have been gardening for about 20 years. I worked at a gardening store for a couple years and have done lots of reading about gardening, as well as lots of practical experience in my own various gardens.

I love to grow fresh herbs to use in my kitchen and flowers to cut for my table. I also like to grow veggies, but never felt a passion for it until I learned about straw bale gardening.

I have read about other ‘methods’ for gardening, but when I read about straw bale gardening, it just made so much sense that I had to give it a shot. The process is very simple, the ‘ingredients’ are not expensive, and rewards were very gratifying.

I had the most unbelievable yield didn’t have to pull a weed all summer…the very first year.

You can start with one bale and just grow a few plants or a bunch of bales and grow yourself a jungle.
