Rita Marks

My husband Jason Marks and I grew up on farms.  As kids, we help pick corn, bale hay and fed the animals.  We still help bale hay today but our lives have gotten so busy with work and other things we don’t have as much time to spend in the garden. So when I was in the local farm store I noticed Joe’s book on straw bale gardening and after reading it, I thought why not give it a try. I love how simple and easy it is. Plus it is fun to grow your own food and my grandkids love helping.
