I have been gardening all my life. I became a Missouri Master Gardener many years ago and support our motto: “Helping others learn to grow.” Straw bale gardening allows elderly, those with disabilities, limited space and all who want to try new methods to continue the joy of gardening. You can even grow on concrete! I give instruction on composting also and find straw bale gardening is a natural fit. This method of gardening is important for all of us to understand and succeed in doing.
