GARDENING BIO

I have been enjoying back yard gardening for decades in several parts of the country and now live in the Great Pacific Northwest.. My interests are English cottage flower beds, unusual fruits and vegetables such as quince, gooseberries, and exotic garlics. as well as lots of more common produce for the kitchen. This will be my third year of straw bale gardening so I have some experience with the many advantages and the few (very few) disadvantages.

Here’s a photo of my big beautiful rabbit who was obtained for the benefit of the compost bins. Her name, of course, is Poopsie!
